HAVEN-THE PLACE TO BE!

I cannot believe the day that I had! I arrived at celebrity gifting suite, Haven, located in the hills above Los Angeles. Between interviewing for Premiere.com the Oscar Nominee Taraji P. Henson and the Silver Medal Olympic U. S. Water Polo Team, it was a day of many high points. Taraji was so sweet and down to Earth, talking about the PSA she had filmed for the Creative Coalition about funding the arts in school programs. She wasn't nervous at all about the Oscars, quipping, "What is there to be nervous about?" Spoken like a true professional!

Another highlight was James Denton from "Desperate Housewives." I asked him if there was something big (i.e. a death in the cast) that was going to happen this Sunday. Without pause, he said that someone was going to get shot. Of course, I asked if it was him and he reassured me it was NOT going to be him. Phew! What would we do without our resident sexy plumber on DH? I also spoke with Stephen Collins from "7th Heaven," singer Aaron Carter, Amber from "Rock of Love 2," and many others.

The funniest by far was Ken Davitian from "Borat", you know the naked, hairy guy. Anyway, we were standing in front of the Sculptz body shapers booth chatting away. He had a pair in his hands and I asked him to try them on for the cameras, to which he replied that he should try them on for me when it was just the 2 of us. Of course, I shot back that he should try them on for the cameras because we have seen much less of him then that in the movie. I think he actually blushed at that point but we had a good laugh about it anyway! Super nice guy who really worked his way up the ladder in Hollywood. He even told me that a casting director once said to him that "he was too skinny!" Remember-looks are subjective, so stop freaking out!

Now I am off to another Red Carpet event, which I will be covering for Premiere.com-the WWE salute to "The Wrestler." I am going to try and not get body slammed on the Red Carpet! Actually, when I was interviewing a group of the wrestlers today(3 guys and 1 bad ass chick named "Kelly") they came up with a wrestling name for me, Foxy Roxy! Ever heard of that one before?
