ANOTHER CASUALTY OF THE LOUSY ECONOMY
It is a sad day in the world of fashion. Christian Lacroix has filed for bankruptcy. Paris Haute Couture will not be the same. This company was the last of those who started with designing haute couture first and then moving on to pret-a-porter (ready to wear) and accessories, much in the vein of Chanel and Christian Dior.
